Eragon!

Before I start I must say, this book involves dragons, elves, dwarves, humans, werecats, and weird herbalists. If you read this you shall become glued to the page of this series in a matter of minutes. Enjoy this book, and love it!

First, there is this guy, Eragon. Eragon is a human, he's pretty average. He lives with his uncle, and has a cousin that he treats like more than a brother. He's mother left him with Garrrow, his uncle, when was but a baby. Eragon is a great hunter and has a small rivalry with the butcher Sloan. One day, during his hunting, Eragon finds a deep hole in the forest It was hot around all the edges.  In the middle, there was stone, Glittering blue.  He picked it up and carried it home. He and his uncle,  went to Carvahall ( a near by town ) to see if it be worth any thing. They took it the jeweler. But the jeweler said, "It's hollow!" So, they gave up on the stone. Eragon put the stone in his pocket and forgot about it. Later, he listened to a story of blood and revenge. It was about the rise of their apparent evil king, Galbotroix. ( It's spelled something like that.) The story was told by Carvahall's storyteller, Brom. That night, Eragon sat in his room. He kept slightly tapping the stone, listening the music it made, for it was hollow. Then it rolled off his desk. Eragon picked it up. The stone shattered...

That my Friends, is a cliffhanger. What I can tell you is, that stone, it will bring peace and happiness upon Eragon, but also despair and much loss. The stone will bring him companionship unlike any other, it will teach him a few lessons too. That stone, or must I rather say, egg, is much more than you might think...

Messenger

This book is the sequel to Gathering Blue. You pretty much see how Matt is doing at the village. He becomes the main character. During this time the forest starts becoming evil. There is also a Trade master that trades away peoples deepest part of themselves. This is a really deep book and expect a lot twists and turns. You also find out who Matt really is... So, this is book is great and I hope everyone enjoys it!

The Witch and the Wizard

This is one of my favorite books. It is just the best. The reason I am blogging about this one today is because I thought it was only one book. (again!) But there is a series. In this book there is a new government. This government wants everything to be perfect. It is called the New Order. The One Who Is The One wants to track down all Wizards, Witches, and anybody with an Imagination. Suddenly, Whit, and Wisty, have TOSTO (The One Who Is The One) at their door. They are accused of being Witches and Wizards. Wisty and Whit go thorough the process of being a juvenile prisoner, without a fair trial, and face many struggles. Along the way they discover what is left of the world, what the N.O really is, and who they really are. This book is astounding with a plot twist coming at you every minute! It truly is, a great book.

Gathering Blue!

This book is the next book of the Giver quartet. It's a little bit easier to explain too. So, there is this girl called Kira. Kira's mother recently passed away due to sickness. She watched her spirit drift away herself. Kira's mother was an excellent weaver. She had fixed, and embroidered a lot of the stitches on the singer's  robe. Now Kira is being faced with a trial, The scarred women who wants to leave her for the beasts to get her because she is crippled,  eats to much, takes up space, slow, ETC. When she faces the trial, the result is astonishing. She was taken in to be help weave new designs on to the singers robe. But first, she must learn the dyes. She meets the woman who knows the dyes, (FOUR SYLLABLES OLD!!!) and trys to learn ASAP. She, and her friend Matt, along with the Carver, make many discoveries, along with the dark secrets....

This book does not pick up the story of Jonas, instead you hear this awestruck story and later find out why we know Kira's mission. I, love this book. It has a great plot and is appropriate fro young readers. Yet while reading this booked, I warn you, you will get hooked. The way Lois Lowery writes is so, so, simple. You have to figure out what is going on, and how this world works by your self. Just like in the Giver. I hope ya'll enjoy this book, don't forget to leave a like and comment!

Charlie

Today, Charlie was put to sleep. (our cat) His kidneys were failing, and he was diabetic. Last Saturday he vomited, and became very lethargic. Since then. we took him everyday to the doctors office. After they did everything they could, the vet said, "It's best to let him go.". We spent this last night and this morning with him. I now know that he was more than just a cat, but a part of our family. ):

THE MOVIE V.S THE BOOK

A LONG time ago, i had just finished reading I am Number Four. I wanted to see if there was a movie, so I was surfing Amazon Video and found it! ( Please note that the movie cost 4 bucks to rent for a day.) I finally got a chance to watch it on my BIRTHDAY! So, Sunday night we hopped onto the couch, logged into Amazon Video, and watched it.

The movie has a lot things that are different. When watching it, it reveals secrets that you shouldn't know yet. It's plot is a little different. But most of the main things that happen in the first book are in there. There is some powers/what-powers-can-do that is a little different too.

In my opinion the book is better, and you might want to read the first two books before you watch this movie. The book has WAY more aspects and details. Yet, as all readers know, it is always fun to see how another reader interpreted the story.  That's the post for today, Like this post if you want to have more of these type of posts!

The GIVER!

One night, twas the day before Sunday. The Bonamarte family gathered on the couch. Turned on the Netflix, and watched THE GIVER!!! - So what happened is we watched the movie on Netflix first, (newbie mistake) and then for Christmas I got the book.  I would recommend reading the book first, and when you watch the movie just don't expect the same story line. Now in this book there is a community where everything is perfect. There are family units and genetically engineered baby's. This kid, Jonas, gets selected a job. He goes to the very edge of the communities every single day and receives memory's from the last receiver. Its hard what to say and what not to say.... I'm going to end it there but, there is so much more to the story.

Alien teenager wha???????

OK, so a few months ago a came across the series, Lorien Legacies. This is a crazy series for teens. Now I wouldn't recommend this book for elementary school students because it has a ton of violence and language. (mostly the the books after the first and second) So this alien is from a planet called Lorien. Now, Lorien was a beautiful place. There were 4 different kinds of people (well not exactly people but you now what I mean.) on Lorien. Garde, These were Aliens who were born with powers. ( I'm not going to tell you guys them because that would spoil some of the book.)Cepan, These were a certain few on Lorien that were selected to train the Garde to use their powers. (Legacies) Then there were Elders, these were the Garde who had chosen to protect Lorien from danger and harm. Last, just the average Aliens, like workers and Chimera (you'll now when you read the book) vets you know, the usual. Oh and how could I forget? There were Mogadorians. (Mogs for short) Mogs were the Lorien's people sacred enemy. THEN, they attacked! Lorien was gone in hours. BUT, there were survivors. During the battle, some newborn Garde were hurried to a spaceship. The elders cast a spell on the Garde that they had to be killed in sequence. They were each given numbers. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9. Then they set off for....here it comes, EARTH! The Garde left with there Cepan. When they arrived they scattered. They went to all different places around the world. That's the back story. Now to present, 1, 2, and 3 are dead. Number four is next. This means that the Mogs are are here. Will number 4 gain his legacies soon? During this process of running and freaking out. Number four gets his new fake ID, John Smith. John and his Cepan, Henri have found a new home in Paradise. John makes friends, and discovers terrifying secrets. Will he die in vain? Or will he gain his legacies and fight back.........

REMEMBER JINX?

Here's the deal, like two months ago I went into my school libary looking for a new book right? SO i look at recommend in my school libary account. It says Jinx. I'm a little curious so I click on it and... IT SAYS JINX' MAGIC! I was like wha???? It said next to it, the second book of the Jinx trilogy series! I was so astonished, I checked it out right away. IF u guys want to hear about how the Jinx's magic and the NEXT book was like, like and comment on this post!

Unwanteds

Remember my first post I said that Unwanteds was one of the series I be reviewing? Well here you go. This is the first Book of that series. The Unwanteds is about the Dull island of Quill. Where no one Has thought, Emotion, color, or imagination. The main characters are Aaron and Alex. They are Twin brothers but Exact opposites. When Alex starts thinking and drawing he gets a penalty: Death.
When this Happens you are known as a Unwanted. So at the purge he gets on a stinky bus to be dipped in oil. But he survives. And ends up living in a  mansion. In a place called Airtime.
  He was so surprised at all the colors and thinking and imagination. There was a secret to the Creativity. Magic. They had so much Creativity they were Magical.
Mean while Aaron is wanted and goes to the Quill University. And wants to become High Pretest.  But has a few troubles.
